Wine: Barolo Corini - Pallaretta comes from vineyards whose altitude and cooler climate give it a strong identity. The aromas are broad and enveloping, from fruity notes to spices. On the palate, it is a Barolo with great structure and powerful characteristics: an elegant and austere Barolo.
Vineyard: A very extensive MGA containing, however, some historic Barolo vineyards, including that of the old farmstead Parrocchia: it was on these lands that the Gavetta family began planting Nebbiolo vines for Barolo in 1970. They wanted Corini - Pallaretta to be the first label from a subzone of Barolo, precisely to honor an area of great potential.
Vine: 100% Nebbiolo for BAROLO belonging to two subvarieties:
- Lampia in vineyards planted in 1970
- Michet of clones 423 and 71 obtained by selection of old vines to obtain grapes with very small berries, average productivity but great oenological characteristics thanks to their richness in polyphenolic compounds.
