Production area: grapes come from vineyards in the municipality of Novello

Location: south-west

Altitude: 430 - 450 meters above sea level

Planting density: 4,400 vines per hectare

Soil: marl of medium texture with some veins of red earth

Planting system: classic Guyot

Viticulture: The grapes are harvested in the last ten days of September and gently crushed. After a 15-day fermentation, maceration begins for another 10 days. The wine matures for about 10 months in 500-liter oak barrels, 6 months in steel vats and rests in bottles for at least 12 months.

Wine: This wine is the selection of a few vineyards particularly suited to this vine. The vinification, as with Barolo wine, brings out its full potential. The more stiff and rustic characters are softened by appropriate refinement. In the nose, perfume of cherries and spices. In the mouth, wine of long persistence, right acidity, full, rich and elegant.
