Summer Wine Tastings@Méan Estate

What is the Méan Estate and where is the Méan Estate located? Méan Estate obviously sounds better than farm. It is a renovated farm in Condroz style and is located 10 km from Durbuy. Here you will find the" absolute tranquility" with numerous birds flying in and out on a fully fenced 1.2 hectare domain. So not the hustle and bustle of finding parking and "overcrowded" feeling of Durbuy but "zen" except maybe a neighbor who gives his lawnmower free rein.

To the point!

On the above described location, we realize only in the months of July, August and September 2025 wine tastings for which you have to register in advance. We will send you a list of the possible wines to be tasted, taking 100% into account your preferences. The tastings can only take place from 11 am to 5 pm, weekdays and weekends. Karina Imschoot is personally in charge of the tasting as sommelier with training in Turin at AisPiemonte department, Associazione Italiana Sommelier. A degustation can normally start from 1 person to a maximum of 8 people.

The degustations are charged at 20 euros per person but with every 100 euro purchase you will receive a code that allows you to deduct 20 euros on the spot or at home. So concretely you book with two people a degustation, you buy for the amount of 200 euros, then 40 euros goes off your bill. All payments must be made through our Sumup system, i.e. electronically. Cash is not accepted at all.

Dogs with shoulder height no larger than an Australian Shepherd male being 58 cm will be accepted to accompany the owner if they are social. We ourselves have a very social Australian Shepherd who runs free.

Restaurant: Chez Pinpin in Barvaux Condroz. Better than what you can find in Durbuy, maximum 12 seats, afternoon and evening service and you see the chef cooking in front of you in open kitchen. The chef cook is rather tremendously timid, and there is no sommelier present but whoever scans the label of the wine ordered can immediately find the explanation of the wine online, right?
