1921. Great-grandfather Guido Ivaldi, a man with a determined and strong personality, bought the farm with his wife Francesca and began producing quality wines that distinguish the family and the winery to this day. After careful selection of the grapes and 12 months of aging in wooden barrels, the result is Freisa 1921: tannins, good structure and body, at the same time with the delicate notes typical of the wines.
Color: quite light garnet or cherry red, with a slight tendency to orange after years of cellar aging.

Composition: 100% Freisa
Category: Freisa d'Asti DOC
Profile: after harvest in crates brought in i the wine estate, fermentation and maceration takes place. The latter lasts 12 days.
Smell: characteristically delicate, with aromas of raspberry and rose
Taste: pleasant, fresh with a pleasant raspberry base. Dry in type and after a short aging delicately supple.
Maturation: aged for a few months in oak barrels. Lifespan of the Freisa wine is 10 years or even more.
Alcohol content: 14%.
Pairing: mature cheeses, game, grilled meats
