- Brachetto d'Acqui DOCG
- Tasting Notes
- Brachetto d'Acqui is a fragrant and aromatic wine with colors and a bouquet reminiscent of the petals of a red rose. On the palate it comes across as sweet, fresh, delicate and slightly tannic. Unique, one of a kind.
- Fantastic with strawberries, dry pastries and desserts.
- Winemaking
- Method: the grapes are crushed and destemmed; then allowed to macerate for 4 days until the wine reaches 2/3 % alc. vol. to extract color and sweet tannins. The wine is then filtered to stop fermentation. After that, "foam capture" is performed until the alcohol content reaches about 6% vol.
