Profile: Timorasso, symbol of the Colli Tortonesi where it finds its exquisite terroir in the tertiary, arenaceous clay derived from the Zebedassi formation. Cultivation area: Avolasca - Viguzzolo - hamlet of Vho di Tortona. South - South West From 250-450 m above sea level. Guyot planting, 10 buds per plant. The vineyard has 4,500 vines per hectare. Soil is medium textured, with sandstone skeleton.
Aging: 15/18 months on yeasts in inox with battonage once or twice a month. Then the wine is bottled and remains in the cantina for at least another 3 months
Nose: ripe apricot, thyme and lime with noticeable flint as well
Mouth: warm fullness balanced by lively acidity and a very long savory finish
