Tenute Sella 1671 from Alto Piemonte, Lessona, markets several wines of which Bramattera and Lessona are the main players. Anyway with the Nebbiolo wine Orbello, the Riesling Piandora and the rosé wine based on Nebbiolo, Majoli, quality is equally pursued within a different price range.

In Belgium, of course, one knows the German rieslings. For those who think "out of the box," the Riesling grape planted in Piedmont is a very nice alternative. With 85% Riesling and 15% Erbaluce, the local grape variety, Tenute Sella 1671 sails a different course compared to the other wineries in Alto Piemonte that step forward with 100% Erbaluce.

The rosé based on nebbiolo grape also scores high thanks to a very short time between must and skin resulting in a copy of the medium pink onion skin in terms of color.
