Vigna Sant'Anna is the largest vineyard of Antica Cascina dei Conti di Roero: one hectare of Nebbiolo planted in the 1960s by grandfather, Giovanni Porello. Immediately the start of the Roero Vigna Sant' Anna born with characteristic steepness, with narrow spaces between the rows. Everything is done exclusively by hand, they even cut the grass by hand, and they chose to take care of the vineyard and make the wines as grandfather Giovanni did. All this on a hillside 350 meters above sea level, in a sandy limestone soil, typical of the Roero region, which lies straight south. The yield of the grapes is very low. We manage to harvest about 6.0 tons, equivalent to about 4,000 bottles.
