An interpretation of Rhine Riesling grown in the municipality of Brusnengo, blended with a small percentage of Erbaluce. The result is a fresh and satisfying wine that surprises with its intriguing bouquet and with the sip that, even in Alto Piemonte, retains all the finesse and aromatic charge typical of Riesling.
Color: light straw yellow color
Composition: 85% Riesling - 15% Erbaluce from Alto Piemonte
Category: Riesling
Profile: the first production of Riesling from Tenuta Sella was in 2015, the average age of the vineyard is 15 years. The planting is terraced, with south-east exposition and 250-300 meters above sea level. The soils are of volcanic origin with ph acidity. Harvest starts in early October.
Maturation: upon arrival at the cantina Tenute Sella, the grapes are first cooled. This is followed by pressing and destemming (pressing pneumatica) Maturation in inox tank. Malolactic fermentation does not take place. The wine stays 6 months in inox barrels with battonage. However the small percentage of Erbaluce goes for a while in barrique (how strange this also might sound). Afterwards both are reunited.

Taste: complex wine with intense, mineral, savory and vegetal notes.
Alcohol content: 13
Storage potential: up to 3 years after harvest.
