This rosé package consists of three rosé wines to accompany fine, elegant food. As an aperitif, of course, this is also possible.
Three wines, piece by piece, different.
Explanation of the three wines
- Langhe Rosato - 2024 by Massimo Abbate, Vineyard in Roero, more precisely in Monta d'Alba, 100% Nebbiolo grape, where once the grape arrives at the winery there is a cooling with dry ice. The skin is in contact for 16 to 18 hours with the must
-Majoli by Tenute Sella - 2023 - Vineyard located in Coste della Sesia, so Alto Piemonte,100% Nebbiolo grape, no dry ice but refrigerated cell that keeps the grape at the right temperature. Here the skin contact is skin - must maximum 6 hours.
- Eros by Paride Chiovini - 2023 - Vineyard located in Sizzano, so Alto Piemonte - 100% Nebbiolo grape. Here you have a different approach. The grape is harvested in small orange plastic containers and this in the late afternoon around 6pm or if much sun has been during the day around 8pm. The grapes spend the night under the portico (canopy) of the cantina. Pigiattura pressing continues but here also with dryness. The skin and must are in contact for 5 to 6 hours.
This category of wines, gourmet wines I would call them, can be kept in your wine cellar for up to 3 years from date of harvest.
Tasting these three wines is a discovery just because of the terroir, the soil structure, the number of sunshine hours in Alto Piemonte very different from region Alba Montà d'Alba, the rain in Alba (quasi not in the summer months and the rain in Alto Piemonte.
From July 15, 2025, we will have 3 more rosé wines coming in, which in turn will be very different toz of these rosé wines. Then we will go for a six package.
