What's the price a wineproducer selling grapes to cooperative is getting for Nebbiolo for Barolo grapes

What's the price a wineproducer selling grapes to cooperative is getting for Nebbiolo for Barolo grapes
With regard to the prices of the nebbiolo grapes destined for Barolo, the price for the winegrower who does not process his own grapes but sells them to a cooperative, there has been a lot to do.
The dualism between the "indicative values" of the grapes - issued by the professional agricultural organizations (Coldiretti, Cia, Confagricoltura, Cia) to allow the calculation of the annual rent for new and existing contracts - and the publications of the Chamber of Commerce of Cuneo as compliance with the institutional task assigned by Istat are at the root. This situation creates a minimum of embarrassment, especially in view of the fact that Langa and Roero wines have long been noticed by numerous national and international interlocutors. We must find a way to overcome this dichotomy and work in synergy to identify the prices of grapes, harvest by harvest, whether they serve as an economic and statistical reference for the annual situation of this wine world, or whether they become indicative values to determine the annual rents on the basis of Article 45 of Law 203 of 1982.
Mario Viazzi, head of the Alba area of Confagricoltura, reminded us that the initiative of the farmers' organisations came from the fact that, since 2011, the body of the Chamber no longer published the mercurial of the grapes. In the absence of specific quotations, these values of the various grapes, aimed at the rent, were inadvertently translated into price indications. This dualism became a reality in 2018, when the Chamber of Commerce of Cuneo returned to formalize the prices of the grapes. The mechanism of the survey of the Chamber of Commerce was not shared by the agricultural world and this situation will therefore continue until 2019. It is hoped that there will be a rapprochement between the two poles at least by 2020, perhaps with the reconstruction of the Wine Council, which in the past has contributed to the analysis and resolution of many problems in the sector.
At the moment we only have the quotes from Coldiretti, Cia and Confagricoltura after the meeting of 6 November, as provided for in the collective agreement on agricultural contracts. The commission determined the values of the grapes for each denomination (province of Cuneo). As can be seen from the table, three values were set: minimum, maximum and average. In many cases, the 2019 values mark a significant reduction compared to 2018: the most notable case concerns Nebbiolo for Barolo, whose decline is 23 percent for wine without additional geographical indication and 12 percent for Barolo with Mega. The difference between 2019 and 2018 is smaller in Barbaresco, with a shrinkage of 7 percent for the classic type and 6 percent for the Mega type. Dolcetto wines, which have long been the focus of attention, show a limited reduction, about five percent for Dolcetto d'Alba, Diano and Dogliani. In the Roero denomination, the red wine shows a decrease of 20 percent, while the Arneis is stable. No value change is reported for Freisa, Arneis, Favorita, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes in the Langhe DOC, while Barbera d'Alba, Nebbiolo d'Alba and Verduno have fallen.
