Colour: Bright ruby red and intense for the eye.
Grape: Freisa 100%
Composition: Milling cutter 100%
Profile: A truly light, fragrant and informal sip, fun but at the same time of high quality, because few people meet. A Freisa, the "Mascarello Giuseppe & Figlio", which comes from the vineyard of Toetto and has matured for more than a year in Slavic oak barrels, but which retains the vibrancy and softness of drinking typical of this variety. It is a wine that is clear and intriguing in its bouquet, then fruity and compelling. It is a beautiful Rosso delle Langhe, which you should try as an accompaniment to salted meat, or slightly fatty or creamy dishes: it is guaranteed that you will be amazed by the combination! For more than a century and a half, the Mascarello family has been involved in viticulture, initially with a farm run by the marquise Giulia Colbert Faletti of Barolo,
Aroma: The nose is predominantly fruity, characterised by hints of cherries, blueberries and raspberries, to which subtle and elegant spicy notes are added.
Taste: The sip is full of body, energetic in its tannin texture, but smooth, good length.
It is the ideal wine to open the conviviality based on the map. Excellent with mixed fried Piedmontese.
