Profile: the vineyard in Montegrosso d'Asti is located at 280 metres above sea level and has a south-western exposure. The soil is calcareous and chalky. The training system is Guyot with 7-8 bunches per branch. The harvest takes place late September. The fermentation lasts for 10 days in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 23-24°C. Afterwards the wine ages for 10 months in stainless steel tanks and for 6 months in the bottle.
Aroma: intense flowery with aromas of violets and hyacinths, and fresh red fruit like cherries and raspberries
Taste: fresh tannins and a long finish
Alcohol content: 13%
