Profile: the vineyards of the Dolcetto di Dogliani are located at 250-600 metres above sea level. The lower vineyards have an east-western exposure and the higher vineyards a southern and south-western exposure. The soil is calcareous and grey. The vineyards are planted with 4500-5000 vines per hectare averaging 20 years of age and including some very old ones. The training system is Guyot. The fermentation was carried out in stainless steel at a controlled temperature of 28-30°C. After the malolactic fermentation the wine was left to rest at low temperatures in stainless steel.
Aroma: an enjoyable bouquet of flowers and spices supported by vinous and fruitful sensations
Taste: well sustained by firm tannins and completed with a warm finish, echoed by typical sapid cherry
