Profile: the vineyard has an eastern, southern and south-western exposure and is located at 280 metres above sea level. The soil consists of medium calcareous limestone and the vine training is Guyot with 7-8 buds on the fruit cane. The vines are 10 years old and the harvest is in October. The fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks and lasts for 40 days. Then follows the malolactic fermentation in partly steel and partly wooden barrels. The wine ages for 15 months in wooden barrels and 6 months in the bottle.
Aroma: black pepper, roasted coffee, liquorice and the typical scents of a Barbera d'Asti Superiore
