Profile: The vineyards of San Luigi and San Giacomo in Dogliani are 380 metres high and face south and southeast. The soils consist of limestone, clay and marl. The grapes are fermented in stainless steel tanks. The wine matures for 12 months in both wooden casks and small oak barrels. Afterwards the wine matures for a few months in the bottle
Aroma: red and dark fruit
Taste: full and concentrated with the same red and dark fruit, liquorice, some earthy tones, velvety tannins and a pleasant complexity.
Alcohol content: 14,50 %.
