Profile: the four hectare vineyard in Neive is located at an altitude of 270 metres above sea level. The harvest takes place late September-early October. The alcoholic fermentation lasts for 6-7 days at a controlled temperature, followed by the malolactic fermentation in completely new, French oak barrels for 16-18 months. Afterwards the wine ages in stainless steel barrels for six months, followed by eight months in the bottle.
Aroma: delicious aroma of blackberries, dark chocolate and spices
Taste: full-bodied, silky and smoky with a characteristic taste of black fruit, strong tannins and a long, tasteful finish
Alcohol content: 14.5%
