Profile: This exceptional wine has 94 Wine Advocate-points, 93 Wine Spectator-points, 92 Tanzer IWC-points and 93 James Suckling-points. The vineyard is 6.5 hectares in size and is located in Neive, the most famous area where Barbaresco is made. Harvesting takes place from the beginning until mid-October. The alcoholic fermentation lasts 7-8 days at a controlled temperature, followed by malolactic fermentation in new French oak barrels for 20-22 months. The wine is then kept for three months in stainless steel barrels and matured in the bottle for 12 months. This wine is sold three years after harvest.
Aroma: A pure aroma of plums and roses with a touch of spicy mint.
Taste: Shows a density that emphasizes the taste of plums and red fruits. Has a long finish with firm tannins and an exceptional taste.
