Costa means slope in Italian and is often used in the names of vineyards referred to as vineyards. In wine-growing language it means the side of a hill facing the sun. Russi was the nickname of the previous owner of the estate, who oversaw the vineyard management of this historic and privileged place. This 10 acre vineyard, located in the municipality of Barbaresco, was purchased in the expansion of the winery in 1967 of its vineyards.
