Profile: the oldest and most fascinating variety of the white Roero. The name Arneis probably comes from the “Bric Renesio”, a high-altitude point near Tenuta Carretta. After the alcoholic fermentation the Roero Arneis Cayega stays in contact with the sediment for a short time to enhance its complexity, the aromatic quality and the fullness. As soon as the wine becomes bright, it is bottled and after only a few weeks is ready for consumption.
