This is not a guided wine tour but all arrangements will be made for you. You book the flight Ryanair Brussels Zaventem - Malpensa with departure on Friday 15h20 and arrival 16h50. You return Sunday with the flight of 14h45 and return in Brussels at 16h15. Short and sweet. You get away from it all, can enjoy gastronomy-wine and beautiful scenery and just feel relaxed because everything has been elaborated for you. No worries.
This trip will focus on the Alto Piemonte, clearly because your time is short, so we can make the most of what you have available. This wine trip can be done every weekend as long as the flights are not changed by Ryanair to other timings that might make it less favourable. If you wish to fly with another airline, you can!
As far as this trip is an individual request for 8 persons, it can be accompanied by a Flemish guide-interpreter-sommelier. Or if you would prefer to participate in a guided tour of this kind, we can try to look at the possibilities in terms of dates for individuals to form a group together.
Friday - Welcome Alto Piemonte
At 4.50pm you will pick up your rental car and head straight for the most distant area. Please allow 30 minutes between landing and picking up your rental car. Then you head to hamlet Castellengo of area Cossato, such a trip of 52 minutes. Check into this super nice b&b of Castello Castellengo, especially the ex coach house of the castle. Don't feel like driving anymore? Walk to their restaurant, n less than 15 minutes you are on the spot. On the spot gastronomic indulgence with a four-course menu and wine pairing of this excellent wine estate (4 different wines)
Saturday - Visit top wineries and enjoy!
After breakfast & check out, you will first visit the wine cellars and vineyards of Centovigne. Then you will go to Podere ai Valloni, one of the most prestigious wineries of the region, known for its very high Ph content, red volcanic stones and fluvial influences. Then follows the masterpiece in terms of all culinary experiences onsite, a four-course lunch at one of the top restaurants that is often compared to Michelin star restaurants. The combination of the visit to this very exclusive domain and the top lunch are a masterpiece in itself.
Afterwards, a visit to Paride Chiovini, known for the unique Sizzano, but also Ghemme DOCG etc., and Francesco Brigatti are on the programme. We will be tasting top Nebbiolo, Erbaluce and of course Oltre Il Bosco, the Ghemme. DOCG
There you will check in at a location close to your next venue on Sunday
Sunday - State of the Art Winery Enrico Crola
After breakfast you have one more visit left: Enrico Crola, a State of the Art winery with ditto wines. From this winery you can reach the airport in 30 minutes. Your onsite visit starts at 10.00 am so that you can eat something tasty from the slow food buffet before you leave.
