For over a century and a half the Mascarello family has been involved in wine-growing, initially running a farmhouse belonging to the Marchioness Giulia Colbert Faletti di Barolo, and from the end of the 19th century running their own farm in Pian della Polvere. Today the company from Castiglione Falletto can count on more than thirteen hectares of vineyards, where the approach is respectful of the environment and ecosystem, and is tending towards organic methods, so the synthetic treatments are limited to the maximum, and the fertilizers are exclusively organic in nature. Not only Nebbiolo between the rows, but also freisa, Dolcetto and Barbera, the most typical varieties of the Langhe.

Precious and straightforward bunches, which are interpreted in the cellar respecting the traditions and classicism, and meticulously applying craftsmanship to each production process, but never renouncing to cutting-edge winemaking technologies. It is in this way that some of the most renowned and prestigious crus of the Barolo denomination are able to express themselves in rigorous, refined labels with an unmistakable style. Wines, those that come out of the cellar "Mascarello Giuseppe & Figlio", now famous throughout the world, with great personality, refined, characteristic and soul strongly territorial.
