Nas-Cëtta or Nascetta: what determines who can put which one on the label?
That is very easy to explain, the Nascetta grape comes from Novello, located next to Barolo. There are 8 producers who produce this authentic grape and only these 8 can put Nas-cetta on the label. Novello is the place where this grape was rediscovered and became very popular since last year.
The grape was, of course, also planted in other regions, and here one should use "Nascetta" to focus on the authentic character of the place where this grape was "reborn" from earlier times.
